Erika Dickstein and Todd Rosenberg Sara and Samuel Lessans Community Leadership Award, 2024 Gala

Erika Dickstein and Todd Rosenberg are a dynamic couple that have provided years of passionate leadership to the Metro Washington, DC Jewish community and beyond. Together, they served as Annual Gala co-chairs in 2021 and 2022.

Todd is a partner at Crowell & Moring LLP, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt financing and complex commercial agreements. In particular, Todd represents clients in complex health care transactions, including representing health plans in significant transactions with vendors and representing health care entities in joint ventures. He is proud of his pro bono work, highlighted by the formation of the Alliance To Help Owners Maintain Equity (AT HOME), a group whose advocacy of reform to the District of Columbia’s system for selling real property tax liens led to a front-page investigative series by The Washington Post, and, in turn, the adoption of significant reforms.

Todd has been a member of the JCRC Board of Directors since 2018 and is the newest member of the JCRC Executive Committee. Todd co-chairs our Maryland Commission. In addition to his work with JCRC, Todd serves as President of the Washington DC Chapter of Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces and on the Board of Directors of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School.

Erika is the founder and "Chief Insight Officer" of Spring Insight, a digital marketing agency that builds websites and develops targeted marketing solutions for subject matter experts in a variety of industries. She is a past president of the Metro Bethesda Rotary and currently sits on the Board of Directors of both Metro Bethesda Rotary and the Metro Bethesda Rotary Foundation. Erika is also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County. Erika is providing strategic communication consulting to the newly created Red Tent Fund, an abortion fund dedicated to providing access to reproductive freedom while following Jewish values.
