Yael Lerman, Director of the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department, and Jessica Carr, an undergraduate student at GW University, will share the details of events leading up to the filing of a Title VI complaint against the Graduate Psychology Program, what they expect from the complaint, and Jewish life and antisemitism on campus.

Yael Lerman Founding Director of the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department
Yael Lerman is the Founding Director of the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department, providing free legal resources to anyone confronting antisemitic and anti-Israel activity. Yael coordinates a team of four staff attorneys and over 280 pro bono attorneys. She is a graduate of Columbia University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, and as a Truman finalist. She attended NYU Law School, where she served as Senior Articles Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics. Before joining StandWithUs, Yael worked at the law firm of Boies Schiller Flexner in New York and in ADL’s legal division. She lives in Los Angeles with her family. www.standwithus.com/legal
Jessica Carr Senior, The George Washington University
Jessica Carr is a senior at The George Washington University, studying Political Science and History within the University Honors Program. Throughout her time at GW, she has been involved with GW Hillel and GW for Israel, serving as the student President of both organizations. After graduating, she will continue her education at GW Law.
