Tal Schneider
Tal Schneider, is one of Israel’s leading political journalists and analysts. She is currently the political correspondent for both The Times of Israel and its sister Hebrew-language site Zman Yisrael. Previously she wrote for Israel’s economic daily Globes and was the Washington, DC bureau chief of Maariv Daily (2004-2009).
From 2011-2017, she established and ran an independent political blog. Her “Plog” quickly became a leading source for news and analysis and a standard-setter for ethical, balanced political coverage, and catapulted her to the front line of Israeli TV and radio pundits. Schneider’s Plog won the 2012 Excellence in Digital Journalism Award by Google Inc. and by Tel-Aviv’s Journalists Association.
Schneider is a frequent commentator on Israeli radio & tv stations. She ranked 32nd on Forbes Magazine 2017 list of Israel most influential women and is a recipient of the 2015 Ometz (public courage & integrity) Award.
