It takes an army of volunteers to make sure elections run smoothly. The Jewish community is stepping up to recruit more poll workers. Find out how you can volunteer this election season at a polling place near you.
No experience is necessary. It’s a great way for high schoolers to earn community service hours, while supporting our democracy.
Local elections officials will talk about what’s involved in being a poll worker, training sessions, compensation and other information. We’ll also have a representative from Power the Polls discuss their effort to recruit the next generation of poll workers to ensure safe and fair elections for all voters.
