The JCRC invites you to join our Greater Washington Jewish community to meet, mingle and discuss our legislative priorities and advocacy efforts with our federal, state and local elected officials including Senator Ben Cardin and Maryland Governor Wes Moore. We will introduce our 2024 legislative priorities, including fighting antisemitism and bigotry; increasing funding for security and social services; defending and protecting democracy; advocating for reproductive rights; preventing gun violence; and building support for Israel.

Senator Ben Cardin U.S. Senator, MD
A third-generation Marylander, Ben Cardin has been a national leader on health care, retirement security, the environment and fiscal issues while representing the people of Maryland in the U.S. Senate, and before that in the House of Representatives. He has worked across party lines to further U.S. national security and to ensure that good governance, transparency and respect for human rights are integrated into American foreign policy efforts.
Wes Moore Maryland Governor
Wes Moore is the 63rd Governor of the state of Maryland. He is Maryland’s first Black Governor in the state’s 246-year history, and is just the third African American elected Governor in the history of the United States.
